Denver Arts Events August 3-9

What this week’s list lacks in volume, it makes up for in depth. If I could enjoy five shows, performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ August 6 Bring your own work to the table in a Poetry Workshop with South Broadway Press at Hooked on Colfax. 5 p.m. More info.

✺ August 8 Join Silent Book Club for an afternoon of reading and (optional) chatting at MATTER. 1 p.m. More info and registration

✺ August 8 Enjoy sets by Colorado-based bands Warper and Summer of Peril as they open for Downward at Lost Lake Lounge. 8 p.m. More info and tickets.
