Denver Arts Events January 19-25, 2026
In the natural world, diversity makes an ecosystem more productive and resilient. The same could be said about an arts ecosystem. This week allows us to dive into a range of Denver’s cultural experiences, and see a performance by literal plants. If I could enjoy five performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ January 23 Experience a multimedia performance including Japanese Butoh choreography, music from biosonified fungi, and sculpture, inspired by underground networks of mycelium in MycoMorphosis: Dancing with Fungi at Dairy Arts Center. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.
✺ January 23 Listen to La Santa Cecilia’s Grammy-winning Latin rock at the Newman Center. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.
✺ January 25 Attend a screening of Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire and discussion with director Oren Rudavsky at the Elaine Wolf Theatre during the Denver Jewish Film Festival. 6:30 p.m. More info and tickets.
