Denver Arts Events March 2-March 8, 2026

The planets must be aligning on March 6, because almost all of this week’s best shows converge on that day. This is one of those weeks when you’ll have to pick your poison. If I could enjoy five performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

March 5-8 Enjoy one of Sondheim’s most beloved musicals at DU Department of Theatre’s production of Into the Woods at the Newman Center. More info and tickets.

✺ March 6 & 7 Enjoy an evening of contemporary dance, theater, film, and multimedia performance by local arts collective, Mariposa Collective, in REMINISCENCE at Longmont Museum. More info and tickets.

✺ March 6 Watch mesmerizing feats of adventure at the BANFF Mountain Film Festival World Tour at Stockyards Events Center at National Western Center. 5 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ March 6-8 Revel in new works by some of the country’s top choreographers, Amy Seiwert, Stephanie Martinez, Ching Ching Wong, and Ben Needham-Wood at Boulder Ballet: Rebels and Innovators at the Dairy Arts Center. More info and tickets.
