Denver Arts Events October 20-October 26, 2025
From experimental theater to works by emerging choreographers and multimedia installations, this week’s list showcases how innovative and exciting Denver’s art scene really is. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.
✺ All week Celebrate the culture of all the Americas—South, Central, North and the Caribbeans at the Biennial of the Americas Festival. Just a few highlights include an Oct. 20 poetry reading at The Reading Room 6 p.m., Despídete de todo, a film installation created by Esteban Azuela and Denver Digerati, and LIBERATION MOVEMENT, a space for visual art, performance and workshops. ✺ October 23-26 OddKnock Productions, an immersive dance and theater company, is hosting a new experimental performance series in an empty RINO storefront, Test Kitchen. More info and tickets.
✺ October 24 Enjoy the joyful bluegrass sounds of Durango-based Stillhouse Junkies at Swallow Hill Music. 8:00 p.m. More info and tickets.
✺ October 24 Enjoy tales from the top 10 local storytellers of Moth’s open-mic StorySLAMs series at The Moth: Denver GrandSLAM at The Newman Center-Gates Concert Hall. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.
