Denver Arts Events April 27-May 3

This week offers numerous opportunities to see award-winning film, music and performance. If I could enjoy five shows this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ May 2 Listen to the smooth sounds of Grammy-nominated jazz orchestra Remy Le Boeuf’s Assembly of Shadows at Dazzle. 6 and 8 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ May 2 Enjoy intimate soulful vibes with Otis Kane and Becca Jay at Lost Lake. 8 p.m.More info and tickets.

✺ May 3 View films celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander culture at Reel Stories: AANHPI Voices in Film at Pace Center in Parker. 3 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ Through May 3 CatchNext to Normal,an award-winning (Tony and Pulitzer) rock-pop musical about mental health, before it leaves Denver at Wolf Theatre. More info and tickets.
