Denver Arts Events April 20 - 26
There are so many intriguing performances happening and exhibitions opening this week, I couldn’t pick just five. If I could enjoy seven performances (that’s right, seven), events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.
✺ April 21 Watch Black Violin push the boundaries of genre at their part strings, part hip hop beats, fully upbeat show at Paramount Theatre. 7:30 p.m. Get tickets.
✺ April 24 Explore ancient movements in a contemporary space as Denver-based Zikr Dance Ensemble takes the stage to perform Runes at Dairy Arts Center in Boulder. 7:30 p.m. Get tickets
✺ April 24 Ars Nova Singers brings together literary, visual and musical artists in RubyFIRE: Shared Visions at Lakewood Cultural Center. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets(this show will also be playing at Dairy Arts Center this week).

✺ Through September 7 Explore the human experience through large-scale sculptures created by internationally-acclaimed Jaume Plensa inA New Humanism at Denver Botanic Gardens. More info.
