Denver Arts Events December 22-28, 2025

It’s a quiet week in the Denver arts world as the masses wrap themselves inside among their presents. Luckily, the ability to duck out of 24/7 family time to expand our minds with great performances has not entirely escaped us. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ December 22 Head to the Mayan Theatre to watch The Secret Agent, a movie that shook the 2025 Cannes Film Fest, winning both Best Actor and Best Director. Schedule and tickets.

✺ December 23 Watch Denver’s rising comedians at Denver Comedy Underground’s Best of Denver Comedy Showcase. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ December 26 Enjoy the funky sounds of the acclaimed jazz ensemble Ken Walker Sextet at Dazzle. Doors 4 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ December 27 Listen to local musicians at an undisclosed immersive art space in Lakewood at Sofar Sounds. Doors 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ December 28 Stop by The Lab on Santa Fe to view Corrina Espinosa’s mind-bending augmented-reality pieces. More info.
