Denver Arts Events December 29, 2025-January 4, 2026

As we enter the new year, I have resolve to dig even deeper into Denver’s art scene, where exceptional exhibitions and performances are often happening just below the glossy surface. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ December 31 Spend New Year’s Eve listening to Christopher Dragon direct the Colorado Symphony through Viennese waltzes, polkas, and marches at A Night in Vienna. 6:30 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ January 2 Visit MSU’s Center for Visual Art to view contemporary prints from makers within a 528.0-mile radius of Denver in Futures: 528.0 Print Exhibition. More info.

✺ January 2 Bring your poems to the stage alongside Art Compost and the Word Mechanics at Poetry Open Mic at The Pearl. 9 p.m. More info.

✺ January 3 Listen to El Salvaje play curated vinyl music at Desert Social. 8 p.m. More info.
