Denver Arts Events July 13-19

Our arts cup runneth over, Denver. Once again, there were so many compelling arts events this week, it was difficult to choose. If I could enjoy seven shows, performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ July 14 Discuss Poisoner in Chief at Cloak & Lager Espionage Book Club, Denver’s only spy novel book club. Station 26 Brewery. 7:00 p.m. More info.

✺ July 15- 19 Create your own art (linocut, crochet, watercolor, cyanotype, more!) at Open Studio at Node Arts Collective. More info.

✺ July 17 Enjoy two pieces—Clink Clank Here Comes Mister Robot and It’s Not Hard to Leave (a fable)— performed by movement company SHAPESHIFTERS at Three Leaches Theater. 8 p.m. Free.‍ ‍More info.

✺ July 17 Watch emerging musicians from Youth on Record’s Next Generation Booking at Thornton Community Center. 6 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ July 18 Enjoy Drag Storytime at Pride Continues Family Edition. Buell Public Media Center. 3:30 p.m. More info.

✺ July 18 Peruse tarot cards/art created in the Deck of Prompts project by 28 artists responding to prompts by Magpie Writers' Forum. Tattered Cover. 10 a.m. More info.
