Denver Arts Events October 6-October 12, 2025
This week’s list is a little bit spooky, a little bit otherworldly, and a little bit world-class. No matter what medium you prefer to consume, there is a captivating event for you. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.
✺ Oct. 6 Catch the eerie synth sounds of French Police at Meow Wolf. Doors open at 7 p.m. Get Tickets.
✺ Oct. 9 Hear Colorado Symphony play David Bowie’s Blackstar, alongside Artistic Director Donny McCaslin and members of his jazz quartet who were part of the album’s creation, at BLACKSTAR Symphony: The Music of David Bowie at Boettcher Hall. 7:30 p.m. Get Tickets.
✺ Oct. 11-12 Lighthouse Writers Queer Creatives Fest is a two-day writing festival that will celebrate and amplify the stories and voices of LGBTQIA+ creatives. There will be craft workshops, generative sessions, and special events, like Witch, Please—A Literary Reading and Halloween Party. More info and registration.
✺ Oct. 11 Enjoy a world-class dance performance by Ballet Hispánico, a leading Hispanic/Latine company at the Newman Center. 7:30 p.m. Get Tickets. p.s. if you can’t make this one, they’re performing earlier in the week in Fort Collins and Boulder.
✺ Oct. 12 Hear original cast members talk about their experience filming this classic TV show in Twin Peaks: A Conversation With The Stars at Paramount Theatre. 7:00 p.m. More info and Tickets.
