Denver Arts Events September 29-October 5, 2025
A 50th anniversary performance of a campy cult classic, a powerful world premiere, and 15 hours of live local music are just a few treats that Denver’s arts calendar has in store for us this week. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.
✺ Sept. 29 Join original cast member Barry Bostwick for the 50th Anniversary tour of Rocky Horror Picture Show at Paramount Theatre. 7:30 p.m. Get tickets.
✺ Oct. 2 Watch the world premiere of A Case for Black Girls Setting Central Park on Fire at Dairy Arts Center in Boulder. Written by Kori Alston, this show has been described as a “new American myth.” Runs through Oct. 25. Get tickets.
✺ Oct. 3 MONSTERS, an exhibition that explores personal and cultural fears, opens at Three Leaches Gallery. 5 p.m. More info.
✺ Oct. 3 Enjoy the soulful sounds of Catherine Russell and Sean Mason at The Savoy as part of MAS Presents’ The Roots of Jazz series. 5 p.m. or 9 p.m. Get tickets.
✺ Oct. 4 Catch a full lineup of local musicians at the Lafayette Music Fest. Free and ticketed shows. Lineup, location, and tickets.
