Denver Arts Events September 22-28, 2025

Denver arts lovers get the opportunity to explore the edges of performance this week by experiencing emerging operatic talent, a lesser-known but revered musical, and a show that takes you on a journey through the trails of Chautauqua Park. If I could enjoy five performances, concerts, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ Sept. 25 bare: a pop opera, a musical about two Catholic school boys in love, produced by Bright Heart Stages, opens at the Historic Elitch Theatre this week. Get tickets.

✺ Sept. 25 The Mexican Cultural Center and the Colorado Symphony have partnered to produce the ninth annual Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Américas, a night celebrating Latin influence in music at Boettcher Concert Hall. 7 p.m. This is a free event, but you must register for a ticket.
