Denver Arts Events April 13-19, 2026

This week’s list reminds us of the incredible creative talent blossoming within Colorado. If I could enjoy five performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ April 15 Delight in an evening with Kate Schatz & Camille T. Dungy Live at Tattered Cover Aspen Grove. Registration includes a signed copy of Schatz’s new book, Where the Girls Were. 5:30 p.m. More info and registration.

✺ April 17 Enjoy the sounds of Colorado-based string band Salomé Songbird and Anneke Dean at Northglenn Arts Parsons Theatre. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ April 19 Listen to stories by local writers at Colorado Writers Showcase at Su Teatro. 2 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ Through April 25 Head to Union Hall Art Space to viewAfro Drexciya: Into the Deep, an exhibition by Denver-based artist Sierra Jeter, that explores subaqueous Afrofuturist mythology. More info.

✺ Through May 8 Peruse Robin McCauley’s raptorous paintings at Thresholds at Visions West Gallery. More info.
