Denver Arts Events September 28-October 4

This weekend, we get not one, but two opportunities to watch dozens of local bands. The only downside is that both festivals fall on the same day. If you’re crafty, you can probably swing both. If I could enjoy five shows, performances, events, or exhibitions this week, this is what I’d do. Enjoy.

✺ October 1 Watch Flamenco Denver show off their show off their zapateado in Raices at the Newman Center. 7:30 p.m. More info and tickets.

✺ Oct. 2-4 Immerse yourself in film—panels, workshops, and viewings at the Cinema Toast House Festival in Writer Square. More info.

✺ October 3 Catch dozens of local bands at Lafayette Music Fest. Various locations. 10 a.m. More info.

✺ October 3 Wander around Baker all day listening to local bands play (192!) on neighbor’s porches at Denver PorchFest. 12 p.m. More info.

✺ Through October 3 This week is your last chance to see Corrina Espinosa’s solo exhibition Portal Juice at The Lab on Santa Fe. More info.
